For impatient_dream! It's probably no surprise that of all your prompts I went with Sarah. ;) This ended up being a bit experimental in terms of style. The movement and tone in this song is amazing - I wanted to do another thirty seconds or so and get through the next verse, but the masks and overlays were taking a really long time, and I was starting to have ( Read more... )

EEEE! I love it! It's got a certain disjointed, dream-like affect going on that I think really matches the song. And Sarah! You touched, really nicely, on how she's driven by dreams. And, also, yay Sarah! Just, you know, in general. :)

Yay! I loved the music because I thought the fevered, disjointed, dreamlike lyrics and sounds were perfect for the way the show handled that aspect of Sarah's character. Very pleased you liked the result, and yay Sarah indeed! ;)

\o/ I don't think I'd have the patience to use overlays and masks all the time - and indeed I think overusing them might be an easy way to start trying to compensate with flashiness, but I'm glad you think they work here; I was a bit nervous they just looked kinda cheesy, but...well, I liked them so they stayed in. It might have been because I fell for her at a time when I was still all obsessed with Laura Roslin too, but I always found the prophetic nature of her dreams fascinating. OH SARAH!

Oh, Sarah! This is gorgeous with your overlays and the slow and inevitable feel to the whole thing. I particularly like the sequence with John being wrapped in the protective arms of the freaky cactus. Shivery good.

Thank you! <3 I'm particularly pleased you felt it was slow/inevitable in tone. And yes, that cactus imagery is iconic in the show for a reason, I think. *shivers*

Really loving the vibe here! Everything seems kinda creepy and like it's crowding in on Sarah.
