Getting over it

So I went to class this morning, parked, went to get my booksack/laptop back that I'd put in the trunk last night and it was gone. Somehow in my head I processed this as "I must be losing my mind, guess I didn't put it in there..."

Came home, not in the house.

FUCK. Laptop gone, camera gone, School stuff all gone.

Resilience is an important life skill- more than you know. I can think of any number of people that would still be crying on the sofa in the apartment.

I hate that someone took your stuff.

Strong is so attractive. :-)

I needed to read/hear this. I could be crying. I could. And I did, earlier, for a bit. But right now ... I need to be all steam ahead because if I don't, with all the other stuff going on ... I'm just afraid I'll never recover.

Which I know is BS, but I just have to be strong right now.

After all, its just STUFF. Yanno? Its not a person, its nothing .... just ... stuff. Maybe this is a learning experience, to bring me back down to earth and remind me to stop letting THINGS control me. Could be.....
