That being said wouldn't it make sense that you could think that S2 Buffy should be forever with.... lets say Angel, and at the same time think that S7 Buffy (If it helps think of them as separate people) should be with... ummm how about we say Spike? Buffy S2 is not Buffy S7 and therefore ships can co exist.

This? Is very smart. I myself practice what I call 'Buffy Love' wherein everybody on BtVS or AtS is in love with everybody else. It solves a LOT of problems. ;)

Just try to write something outside your OTP and you will soon find yourself chipped and surrendering your will to a coffee maker that thinks.

Maybe by not jumping down their throats every time a writer tries something new

Wow. You must have great fans. Cuz I know more than a handful of writers that when they started writing outside their OTP they got hasseled about it. Hence the incoherent ramblings above. Any Buffy\Connor? Oh I have to read this! Send a gal a link?

Did you read what I wrote? Hello! No real consitancy, no real logic, and I am pretty sure I was smoking crack.. Coherent it is not. :-)

Far more coherent than anything I would have written, anyway. *chuckles* About the link, I don't have it at hand but. Just go to my memories (MyFiction) and search for Buffy/Connor.

I have supportive readers, yes. I also try to be as supportive as I can. :-D Besides, I rarely say 'no' if one of them has a 'special' request. *g* Like Riley/Three Sisters, now that was fun. LOL!

Hey I love shipper whoring Spike, I also love shipper whoring Buffy. But as practices I am firmly in favor of... but there are a lot of reader who get upset (and get all rampagy with the flames) when their favorite author starts dabbling in other pairings. Its crazy and not right and that is my point.

My point is I just don't think your fandom rant even applies to S/ B OTP shippers. This might sound offensive but as a whole Spike/[fill in the blank] OTPers are generally the most liberal and tolerant kind of shippers I've come across in any fandom I've remotely been involved with. Oh yeah and I should let you know I am friending you. Why? I dunno, you seem smart and yeah your argue with me, which is a plus in my book, and yeah I still have a soft spot for fangirls.
