"I... can't... breathe," TJ choked out.
"That's the idea," Methos told her, continuing to hold the struggling younger Immortal down.
"You're feeling more energetic that's good. You're still feeling suicidal that's bad. If I wanted to be fighting off people after my head all the time I'd advertise," he explained to her patiently.
"Sorry?" She croaked.
"Yes you are. Grayson would find your attempts to force me to take your head pathetic. I'm not going to take your head, and I'm not going to say it again," Methos told her sharply.
"Understand?" He asked, letting up his pressure some. TJ nodded. She drew a few breaths before she spoke.
"I understand, stop antagonizing the Old Man before he lets someone who really will take my head for me find me," TJ explained to him.
"It can learn!" Methos smiled, getting off of her.
"Yeah, it can," she agreed as she sat up and rubbed her throat.
"Need a drink?" He asked sympathetically. TJ nodded. Methos got her one of the beers from the cooler on the porch.
"You know you don't really want to die anymore. If you did you'd have been fighting to kill me," he pointed out before drinking some of the beer. She smiled.
"You could tell I wasn't trying to kill you?" TJ questioned over her beer.
"Yes," Methos answered simply, giving her no more explanation.
