I finally got around to giving The Mandolorian a try. I hadn't been bothering partly out of seeing Disney's handling of Star Wars since they bought the franchise as a mixed bag at best, and partly because my father was the one with a Boba Fett obsession, not me. I was underwhelmed by The Mandolorian but the finale left enough story open that I feel like it could be interesting...but I don't if the writers will take that route or just stay in the same ol' same ol' story. I really enjoyed Rebels though! That show was pretty dang solid through-out.

Yeah, having finished it now I'd say I had the same reaction overall, and to the finale.

I understand. It was such a short season, not even 10 or 13 episodes, it's hard to predict whether they might try to go somewhere interesting or keep to the same ol' same ol' story.

I really enjoyed Rebels though! That show was pretty dang solid through-out.Glad to hear you really enjoyed it! I did go ahead and start a re-watch of Rebels once I finished The Mandolorian. I'm somewhere in season two right now. I found when I started the re-watch it gave me similar "going home" feelings to revisiting Avatar: The Last Airbender. Just as I'd forgotten how much I love Zuko, Toph, and the others, I'd forgotten how much I love Ezra, Sabine, and the others. It's nice to revisit old favorites, as well as be on the lookout for new ( ... )
