Saw The Martian and Crimson Peak this week. Without getting too spoilery, I really wish I'd seen them in the opposite order. That is all.

I wouldn't like you to bother with lengthy explanations, so, only if you really want. :) Whatever method fits you best. As for me, I've seen The Martian, and I'm not going to watch Crimson Peak anyway, so I'm okay with spoiling.

I don't think the explanation is all that long and complicated. I'm happy to share. I've put a spoiler warning up for the comments. I saw The Martian for Sebastian Stan's character, and I saw Crimson Peak for Tom Hiddleston's. Seb's character got a happy ending complete with a new baby. Tom's character got killed, and I thought in a way that made his death very sad. It would've been nice to watch the downer first, and had the happy ending to look forward to instead of seeing the happy ending first and being left with the downer. My own fault for not looking for spoilers on both before I went.
