inversion aversion

so because we are in a valley (the 'treasure valley,' to be exact) we are experiencing something called an inversion. to my admittedly rudimentary understanding, this is some meteorological phenomenon in which the air gets trapped under a layer of clouds between the mountains & can't get out or circulate. so everything in the atmosphere that is bad ( Read more... )

That sounds like crap, hopefully the "similar thing" in Seattle isn't quite so similar

i think it will be slightly different (*crosses fingers*) what with the coastal stuff, and different mountain configuration, but who knows?

Freaky! Have a great Thanksgiving!

I might be stuck in Ann Arbor for Turkey Day if the weather turns as crappy as it is predicted (just talked w/Mom and she said taht the snow there is supposed to go for about 18 straight hours). So, when did Fall end? When did it begin?

Are you planning to come out east for XMas? Let me know and I will arrange a meet-up.
