I fell in love with Amy thirteen years ago today. Thirteen years. It was an act that stopped me in my tracks, and at the same time set my world spinning into a violent rotation that wouldn't cease for many years and tears to come.

Oh my GOD! I just realized that for some reason you were not in my "ultra filtered" friends group, lol. I just added you to it. You should go back and read the entries that are now visible to you, especially from end of 2011 and Feb 2012. Amy had a relapse during that time that resulted in us having to be estranged, but she has now pulled it together (again) and is doing well. We went out to lunch last week and she was fine. She is still married, very married, and redoing their kitchen.

She is still the same deadpan, hilarious woman I became best friends with 15 years ago, but in so many ways she's so different...she's tamer now than she ever was before, though she does have these moments of chaos now and then. It's a rollercoaster but I suppose addiction always will be?
