BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

No, your dream is telling you you're really a man, baby, and because you're a man, no one will bat an eyelash at your ragged edges.... or somethin' like that. Also, you have special design powers, and need to go to Paris, with your bandanna neck brace.

Maybe it means I should explore the healing properties of paisley? Go to Paris and start a holistic healing salon in which I charge new age adherents to have mud plasters of paisley bandanas put on their chi points? Also, on their necks, to repair the psychical "tears" in their neck chi caused by modern life? Is your job causing you a pain in the neck? Come to Madam Bex for soothing and healing interventions on behalf of your spirit or something!

Paisley healing properties, you say? This is cool, because i recently got a silver boteh jeguh, or however you say that, from my art imports genius lady, and she told me the original boteh is supposed to be a mango. It's called a paisley because the Scots adapted it for their textiles from the originals from Persia. Anyway, it represents life and eternal life, and summat.

Also, the psychical "tears" in their neck chi caused by modern life is just the best thing I've ever heard. I'm all yours, you and your persian pickles...

I see a boteh jegheh which is a persian pattern, or is it also a physical object or are they the flowers or ....the design itself is called boteh jegheh?

Maybe the dream means I have psychical tears in my neck chi. My poor head was severed right at that throat chakra, after all. ;)

That's a terrible dream. Post a better dream next time.

Boring, or just horrifying? In previous postings I wrote about dreaming I was Brahma, the sun, a goat, a satelite, a black man in a bowler hat, both the pursuer and the pursued in a bank heist, Bill Shatner, and about kissing Spider Robinson. Here is Brahma, a very different dream: http://bec-87rb.livejournal.com/88733.html#comments.

Not that you asked me, but your sex dreams are always entertaining.

Thank you, but I was kind of interested in what you think it means, your gut reaction? What does someone tying their head back on sound like to you?

perhaps you aren't thinking straight and need to rethink some things

That dovetails with what I have been thinking while awake recently.

You'd lose your head if it weren't tied on!

Well that's completely true. How's Walmart? Still horrific?

Pretty much, yeah. But then, I've never been too keen on work in general.

Self reflection, perhaps. I'm not sure what it means that you are a man in the dream. Perhaps that's one facet of your personality. I always wonder what my dreams mean too, but then again, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar". ;)

I suspect that since my dreams can have a film-like quality, and the usual protagonist in any recent hollywood film is male, the "me" that gets cast is male when the dream is more cinematic, more complex in plot or themes? I have lots of dreams where I am female or physically me as I am right now, or me a little younger, but the interesting, puzzling, and more literary ones often cast me as a man. I just reviewed dreams blogged here and they are disproportionately me-as-male given the actual proportion in my dreamland, and I think it has to do with whether it's post-worthy, and plain old anxiety dreams can be stereotypical and kinda dull.
