So what are we to conclude from this morality tale? That atheists are more Christian than Christians?

Haha - in this case, the atheist gave the beggar the dollar, while the Christian over here dodged it. Not sure if I can draw any broader meaning than that, but I sure liked his mild-mannered "Oh good God no." I told him that he had denied the Christ in front of the holy Krispy Kreme, and he was due for some serious Godsmite.
