My roundup of the MCR gig at the Hammersmith Apollo.
I'm in before ladyfoxxx because as we speak she's waiting for the support to come on in freezing Manchester. *is jealous*
I have many pics, coz where she was focussing on video, I could only take stills, so I hope you enjoy, please feel free to grab the pics and whatnot, I'm not fussy.
We got there just after 12 and I was quite excited to see that despite there being a whole group of peeps who had been there since 10:30pm the night before, we were reasonably close to the doors. For that reason we chose to stay in the queue rather than join some of the fangirls that were off drinking and making merry elsewhere (I'm sorry you guys!)
Highlights.
Everyone in the queue, I mean it, you guys are fucking awesome. I met so many amazing people and shared umbrellas with a lot of them too!
- whoever that dude was who was chucking mars bars into the crowd, you are a legend man!
Gee's ludicrous grinning face coming out onto stage.
Frank's heartbreakingly adorable pics of the twins, and the fact that he brought it out on stage with him and took it away again, HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE PARTED FROM THEM K!?
Mikey being a bb!rockstar and holding the stage all on his own with his TWICE AS SHINY silver bass.
Frank's wicked smile just before he spit into the crowd.
Holding tight to the hands of two of the best people in the world as I quietly fell apart to Cancer.
The fact that they not only brought out Mikey's good luck helmet but fiddled with it to get it JUST RIGHT before they left it alone.

The queue, we were just under the 'O' of 'Apollo'
The helmet, they brought it on before the band and spent ages adjusting it, idk, maybe there was a camera or something in there. Sorry it's so dark, but the stage lights were off at this point. You can see how much Killjoys iconography was on the stage...
Sorry this one is a bit 'arty' but really Geeway...the hair...
