Apparently my French accent is really hard to place, now. I've spent four months (halfway point in this job, huzzah or boo!) here in Normandy, so my accent is slowly kind of normalizing into a Norman-ish French. Ahaha, I love the Quebec accent (possibly because I find it easier to understand than the French accent?) It's awesome that no one can place your accent, though! :D

PS: Seriously thinking of applying to the English assistant in France program, so you may possibly get emails asking questions/advice about the application process at some point.

Yeah, I'm really interested in how I sound to native French speakers. I wonder what would happen if I go to Quebec afterwards, even for a few weeks?
