While you have acquired internet, mine is being a pain. I've had to reboot my router approximately every 15 minutes for the past few hours... *sigh*

I do not think I would have survived as a student in France, either. D: I feel vaguely horrified (though I have heard that French students get hours of homework every night and they get graded astoundingly harshly... And apparently, school is really competitive in France.) PS: What grades will you be teaching?

I am teaching what they call troisième through sixième, or eleven to fourteen year olds. :)

I may have to get you to explain the French school system to me sometime. I have never been able to figure out the difference between, for example, lycée and collège, or what years/ages these apply to, and so forth. :)

I'm still hazy on the details, but as far as I'm aware, collèges are like our junior highs, and lycées are like our high schools. :) At least, that's what they keep telling me! I work in a collège, teaching eleven to fourteen year olds, so that information fits.
