 Update on the whole France-job-application thing.

I checked my e-mail this morning, at 9:20am Ottawa time (that's 7:20am here). I had an e-mail back from the Madame at the French embassy in Ottawa about that piece of paper. She had e-mailed me back probably within the first ten minutes of her shift. :)

Hopefully you'll get the interview. (IDK, the fact that you're emailing them and following up not only on if you could send it in late but whether they got the form or not suggests that you genuinely are interested in the job and it's not one of those "well, whatever" kinds of things? Which looks good to an employer?)

Only catching up on this job-application stuff right now, but--I'm so glad that it (hopefully) has worked out! I'd definitely be stressed out a LOT about something like this too. /hugs
