Chapters: Chapter 1

“He’s a third year; president of the art club, great at acting, singing, and dancing. He draws or makes clay sculptures and fishes as a hobby.”

Nino took the information in, playing with his ID card in his hands.

“Sometimes, I wonder if you’re a stalker, Aiba,” Jun said, looking at Aiba with eyebrows raised.

“It’s good to know people in the school. Like when Nino develops feelings for someone and wants to know about them,” Aiba replied, shrugging. He dodged Nino’s incoming fist with ease.

“Like I said, he’s some weird guy I met and I just wanted to know who the hell he is,” Nino grumbled. The information Aiba told him didn’t really tell him what he wanted to know, though. Ohno being talented didn’t impress him either- Nino was proud to say he could also dance, act, and sing.

“His best friend is the school president,” Aiba said. Nino and Jun looked at him. “What?” Aiba asked, looking clueless.

“No, it’s just...That’s the guy you like, right?” Nino said after a moment.

“I’m not gay like you, Nino-”

“Since when have I been gay?”

“-I just said he looks good in a suit. Well, without one too, I guess.”

Ohno was kind of good looking too, now that Nino thought about it. But he wasn’t interested like that.

“Oh, Nino, did you get your music sheets safely?” Jun asked. “You were freaking about it so much before.”

“Yeah..” Sort of, Nino added in his head. He wondered if Ohno really did see them.

“I don’t even know why you’re so crazed about people finding out you play the guitar,” Jun muttered.

“You know why! And be quiet, there are other people around us,” Nino hissed.

“Let’s go outside for lunch,” Aiba said, his eyes fixed on something outside the window. Suspicious, Nino turned to look.

“No,” he said immediately, seeing the school president with Ohno chatting.

“Why not?” Aiba whined. “You want to know more about Ohno, right??”

“I’m not going!” Nino snapped. He glanced out the window again, startled to find Ohno looking in his direction. “I’m leaving, bye,” Nino said, quickly walking far away to the other end of the school.

Somehow, Nino found himself in front of the music room. Using his ID card, he easily entered the room. Quickly looking around the room to check if no one was there, Nino went to the section where the instruments were kept. He reached for a guitar in the corner- he’d rather use his own, but of course Nino wouldn’t bring his guitar to school. As his hand grasped onto the case, he heard the door open and approaching footsteps. Gasping softly, Nino quickly let go and slid over to the where the trumpets were placed.

“Ah, Nino-kun, what a surprise.”

Shutting his eyes at the familiar voice, Nino sighed and turned around to face Ohno. “Is it a surprise?”

“Of course not,” Ohno replied without hesitation, smiling sweetly. “Are you playing trumpet now?”

“No, I was just looking for something a friend lost,” Nino lied, averting his eyes and pretending to look for something.

“What is it? I can help you.” Nino dared a glance at Ohno, but only to bristle at the smirk on his face.

“His ID card,” Nino muttered angrily, shoving an instrument case quite violently back into its place. Nino tensed, hearing Ohno’s footsteps approach closer to him, until he was sure the older student was right behind him. Nino turned. He didn’t like to see Ohno so close to him, but he didn’t like having his back turned either.

Nino’s breath got caught in his throat as one of Ohno’s hands raised, resting on his necktie. Nino couldn’t see what he was doing, so his eyes ended up resting on...well, Ohno’s exposed neck. He felt the tie tighten a bit against his neck, and Ohno moved back.

“Your tie was askew,” Ohno explained. Nino flushed, bringing his own hand up to his necktie without thought.

Nino felt like he was free to leave hell when he heard the bell ring, signaling the end of lunch.

“Too bad we didn’t find the ID, hm?” Ohno called when Nino was at the door in a heartbeat. Ignoring it, he left the room quickly.

--

Nino hadn’t gone to the music room for a week, except for class of course. He wasn’t really sure why, but Ohno pissed him off plenty, and he didn’t want to see the guy at all. It was a peaceful, normal week, just the way Nino liked.

He should have known that Ohno would have gotten to him in the end anyway.

But in the bathroom, of all places? Nino stared at the dark brown eyes, his back pressed against the wall. Ohno smirked triumphantly, leaning in closer.

“...You’re gay,” Nino said, sure that those lips would soon touch his.

“Not exactly,” Ohno replied idly. “I’m just interested in you, Nino-kun,” he whispered, his long fingers sliding into Nino’s hair. Although his heartbeat picked up wildly, Nino kept his eyes open and glaring, wanting to appear strong.

It was hard to though, with his hormones acting up so strongly in his teen age.

A surprised, almost inaudible moan escaped Nino’s lips after feeling a slight tug in his hair. He bit his bottom lip in frustration, his cheeks turning a bright shade of pink. Ohno smiled.

“Goddamn it, let me go,” Nino growled.

“Only if you tell me why you won’t play the guitar for me,” Ohno said softly.

“Still on that? I’m not going to tell you anything!”

“You’re quite stubborn, aren’t you?”

“And I’ll keep being it, so there’s no point in trying to get anything out of me.”

“I don’t give up so easily on what I want,” Ohno said simply. Nino hated the feeling he had that Ohno would win in the end, no matter how stubborn Nino would be.

“Anyway,” Ohno said, “you play for your friends, don’t you?”

“Like hell you’re going to become my friend,” Nino murmured.

“Oh, I never said I wanted to be your friend,” Ohno said, a tinge of amusement in his voice that just pissed Nino off even more.

Nino spat, right on Ohno’s face, catching him by surprise. He took the moment to duck under Ohno’s arm, which had had him pinned against the wall. Nino didn’t look back, nor did he want to. He walked right out of the school, remembering that he left his bag at the school but he really didn’t feel like getting it.

But Nino felt bad. Then again, Ohno probably didn’t even mind, which gladly kept Nino pissed off instead of feeling bad for something he did.

His feet carried him all the way to Aiba’s house. He rang the doorbell, and was glad to see that Aiba was already home when he opened the door.

“The guitar...I want to play the guitar.”

A/N: ....I hope Ohno doesn't seem too OOC. But his sexiness makes up for it. :'D (I hope. xD)
