MBLEAST Secret Santa 2010
BASIC KNOW HOW AND WHATNOT:
This is the first Secret Santa even for both Beast and MBLAQ~ The general gist is that in exchange for your writing a fic, you will receive a fic.

Sign ups open: October, 15
Sign ups close: October 24
Assignments sent out: October 27
Deadline for Submission: December 23
Posting fics: December 25-30
Author reveal: January 4
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
01. Can I write more than just one of the requests? Yes, if you feel more comfortable writing three drabbles or perhaps two this is fine. Your word count needs to reach 1000 in total. 500/500 or split however you'd like. We ask for three to give the writer variety, go wild.
02. I can't write for any of my requests at all. What now? Get in contact with the mod if you have any difficulties with your assignment, we'll work it out with you.
03. Is there a minimum word count? Sadly yes, your fic must be at least 1000 words.
04. Does it matter if it's AU or real person? Unless your assignment is specific, interpret the prompt however you'd like.
05. When can I post it on my own journal/writing community? After all the authors have been revealed on January 4th.
06. Can I ask for/write crossovers? Since this is a joint event, we'd really like it if you could request at least one crossover fic with both bands (we're not demanding though). Please try to avoid crossovers if they're not really asked for.
07.So I can't ask for just all MBLAQ pairing reqests? You technically can, but then I'll judge you because you're making it harder for me in case if I get like 10 people asking for ONLY MBLAQ and I only have so many who are capable of writing them.
08.Do I have to use a beta? We hope that you will. If one is needed, pm/comment at the mod and we'll hook you up.
09. I want out, make it happen. PLEASE TELL US IF YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR ASSIGNMENT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Promise not to judge you it it's within a decent time frame. One day before will make leaders glare at you :/
10. And it's all due when? Because we're super nice, we're super lenient. We say the 23rd, but we really mean 'just get it in before the 30th'.
11. Will there be a first draft before the final draft is due? No, we trust you. We will be sending out emails to make sure you're still aware that you're participating in this event. There will also be posts to this community to make sure you're in the loop and provide the extra push you need if need be.
We know that we are not the first nor the last secret santa even to show up around these days, so we ask that you please know your own limits. While it's amazing that you can sign up for half a dozen events, chances are that you'll be crying come Christmas time. We don't want you to cry ;-;
