Top of the charts the day I was born was 'I Knew You Were Waiting' by Aretha Franklin and George Michael. I'm kind of curious about everyone else.

West End Girls, by The Pet Shop Boys. Which I've never heard of. The UK charts, I have Rock Me Amadeus, by Falco, which I feel like I should be familiar with (but I'm not).

"Stand By Me" was on top in the UK, and it was "Walk Like an Egyptian" in Australia. A good, if somewhat cheesy, day in music, it would seem.
