So I bought some toner and I've never used this type of product before in my life.

Should I apply it every time after I wash my face? I usually wash my face once in the morning and once at night and I'm just wondering if it would be okay to only use toner once a day, or if I would see more benefits if I used it after every cleansing?

Recommend a gentle toner? The one I'm currently using is wreaking havoc on my face and it buuuurns. That's what I get for using one with menthol in it >:o
