I'm going to NYC for my 18th birthday, and I was wondering where do you go to shop for just clothes? i usually wear the usual mall (abercrombie, hollister, forever, urban).
Also, is the china town worth going to?

unrelated question:
for cosmetology were going to go get a lesson from mac and 100$ to spend there. what are your favorite mac products

Their gel eyeliner is amazing. I'm so glad I discovered it!

MAC has awesome eyeliners (I love their Powerpoint and Fluidline eyeliners), and I really think their lipsticks and eyeshadows are the best out there.

With $100 I'd probably get a mineralize skin finish, gel eyeliner, neutral colored paint pot, nice pink or coral colored blush, neutral lip color, and maybe either primer or concealer.

I normally shop on and around Broadway in NYC. If I were you I would go to the Prince and Broadway intersection and go up and down Broadway. That is pretty much all shopping. Also, a lot of the cross streets have a lot of cut shops too.

As for China Town, what are you looking for?
Places to eat? Places to buy knock off bags? Places to buy weird little knick nacks?
Then I would say yes.

This - the knockoffs in Chinatown are pretty bad but they have a ton of weird little interesting knickknacks.

SoHo near broome st? (I think) is nice to look around. I believe there's a topshop on broome, but I'm not so sure. There's also a madewell and other basic stores such as Old Navy. 34th street is where all the big chain stores like F21, H&M, and Zara are. Brooklyn is really good for thrifting on boutiques, but you should definitely plan out all the stores you want to hit first. I would suggest you do your research and list all the stores you find to be interesting, and group them by area.
