Pale patches

Okay this is getting annoying. I have only one pale place on my entire body and it's the bottom half of/space between my boobs. No matter how much exposure that area gets, it Does. Not. Tan. I've been on the beach every day for a while now and you can see the line where my swimsuit was really strongly on the top half of my chest, but but bottom

It's probably just due to friction and the induced exfoliation from that friction.

I don't think so, it includes the space on my chest between them and nothing ever touches that area. Plus you'd think that even if my bra or whatever was exfoliating my tan off it would still tan in the first place when I put self tanner on it.

Is the skin a different texture than the skin that tans? Even a small difference in texture can mean that your skin won't tan or will tan less, especially if it's rougher/tougher.

I live in an apartment, unfortunately, or I would totally be doing that right now.

maybe the bottom half is more used to being covered up? I have no good advice other than maybe use a self tanner to even it out. Or if you're outside, totally skip sun screen in that area.

This may sound weird, but I have the exact same thing in kind of the same area, except mine is a bit lower (right below where the middle of the bra cups meet). I can even see the outline of mine and it's kind of in the shape of a large birthmark, which of course it only shows when the area around it gets tan. I'm sorry to say I have never solved it, but I just wanted to let you know you weren't the only one. I consider mine a birthmark and I think they are actually really cute! How many people get to have a secret clear birthmark that only shows when the rest of them tan? It's kind of cool. If it bothers you for wearing low cut tops you should apply a smudge resistant makeup. I think that might be the only way.
