What are your opinions about Avon makpe up and skin products? Also, has anyone ever been an 'Avon lady'? How was the experience and would you reccomend it as a way to earn extra money?

I've only ever used their SuperShock mascara, but it's the best one I have ever used.

My mom loves their anti-aging products. I have used their skincare but it's hit or miss. Their makeup is fairly good too.

Honestly all Avon products have this *smell* about them but are okay. I used skin so soft alot as a kid and it usually kept down the moisitoe bites and whatnot.

And I've tried alot of Mark. samples. Mark.'s eye shadows are really light showing up, at least most of the colors I had samples of but most of their stuff was pretty good. I didn't like any of their perfumes. They all had that distinct 'avon' smell.

Oh and I realllly like the Haiku body wash/body powder shimmer stuff.

Oh and Let me add that I wouldn't do Avon unless you have a good circle of women actually interested in buying from you or you had some organization (Avon women I know used churches a lot) where you could pass around catalogs to get customers.

Agreed with the smell. I had a lip balm once I had to throw out, it was terrible.

Avon makeup is kinda eh. I don't like the eyeshadows but the lip stuff is okay as is blush. I also really like most of their mascaras. Truthfully I order a lot of Avon but it's usually clothing, jewelry or shoes (you can find some really cute stuff in there!).

I really like Avon products and was an Avon Lady : ) It was probably 5 years ago, and I loved it. At the time I didn't really have a good support person (the lady that got me started then kinda flaked away) but I've really been wanting to start back.
