1. My scalp is fairly dry and it tends to flake a bit. I'm looking for a shampoo that will help moisturize without making my hair oily. I really don't want something that will weigh my hair down, especially since the weather is starting to get humid. I've tried homemade scrubs on my scalp before but it hasn't helped much. So does anyone know of a ( Read more... )

4. don't don't don't use vaseline. it just coats your skin with a layer of petroleum and does NOT moisturize. i would exfoliate and then use olive oil.

Use Carmex on your lip! Put it on at night right before you go to sleep. It tingles a bit but it works. You might have to do it for a few nights before it's fully healed. Back when I had braces, the corners of my mouth would dry out and split really bad (ew, I know) and Carmex was the only thing that worked.

Use the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask for blackheads. I also recommend the pore stripes (Biore or whatever brand), those help at least a little bit if you use them properly.

I second Carmex, I use it every night. Although I use the cherry balm because I can't stand the smell of the original.

2. My boyfriend uses the Listerine whitening mouth wash, and it works well. I am curious about the peroxide thing so if you do happen to go that route, post again about how it works, pretty please? :]

4. HIWTK doesn't do much except smell absolutely amazing, and it also comes in solid perfume form. Mmmmm, honey & toffee, I love it.
But for something moisturizing & exfoliating, I'd suggest Sultana of Soap or Porridge. Given your exzema, Porridge would probably be your best bet since it contains oatmeal, as suggested by the name. Sultana has bits of berries in it, or something...I've never used it.
