Bare Minerals? Bronzer?

Ok so I have naturally semi-fair skin. I've been switching foundations for awhile until I came across Sheer Cover (from tv) and I do love it...they say it's supposed to be good for your skin. However, It doesn't give me a good bronze for my face that I would like (since I don't tan my face). I got a bronzer from Walmart and it broke me out (so no ( Read more... )

bare escentuals does give really good coverage, i'm a huge fan of the line even though i can't use it anymore. it's all in the brushes, honestly. you have to get a kabuki brush, the brushes they want to give you in kits are much better for blush or a light application of mineral veil. i've only stopped using it because my skin got too dry for it, i think and it started making my skin look old.

a lot of people like warmth from BE, i hate it personally. i'm way too light for it. i have heard the faux tan shade is better for fair skin, but i haven't tried it. i do really like the champagne diamond radiance, i got it in a qvc exclusive kit in november but it's probably still on ebay. i'm pretty sure there are plans to expand on that color, though. warm radiance might also be good, it's a little bit lighter than warmth and not so matte.

I like the coverage bare minerals gives me. I also hate warmth for my fair skin, its really messy and too dark for my skin. Ill have to try the faux tan to see if its better.

i really like bare minerals - the coverage is excellent and looks very natural, and my skin has really improved since i've been wearing it.

& for bronzer, i love nars laguna. awesome stuff! idk how good the ingredients are for skin, i mean it isn't like bm but i haven't had a problem with it breaking me out or anything.

I love Bare Minerals. Can't speak to any bronzing because I just fake bake. But BM coverage is great, especially the fact that you can layer it to get as much or as little as you want/need. And I think it looks really natural. I hated makeup before I tried BM.

I really like Bare Minerals. If you check the tags, there are more posts on this. The coverage really relies on the brush that you use. A dense brush, like a kabuki, will give you medium to full coverage. Where as a powder type brush will give sheer coverage.
2. I hate Warmth. It comes in the kit, if you buy it. It's too dark and too orangey for me. I make it work by mixing it with Faux Tan, or I use Faux Tan on its own. NARS makes a good bronzer called Laguna that's also good.
