I know, I was dedicated to buying REAL BOOTS. I thought Uggs would do the trick but after I looked into them and realized that you have to baby them and they're not really water proof, I gave up and decided to look elsewhere. I'm amazed at all the winter boots I'm seeing that have heels, aren't waterproof, have smooth bottoms, etc. What's the point?

north face boots are the best! i have a pair of brown booties that i bought last year and they have never gotten my feet wet. it's 6 degrees in chicago today with several inches on the ground and i never have a problem with slipping & sliding or having cold feet.

Put Monistat Anti-Chafing Powder Gel on the parts of his leg/foot that are being rubbed wrong. I used mine on the back of my heels when I had some uncomfy shoes and it really helped!

I have women's North Face boots, and I get some pain occasionally on the front of my shin. Wearing ski socks works for me.
