I'm looking to invest in some China Glaze and/or OPI nail polishes because I've never used any before, and I'm tired of cheap stuff peeling off! What are your favorite polishes for everyday, or for work

I went to all the usual places last time-- Osaka, Kyoto, Hokkaido, Tokyo, blah blah blah. It was just a sightseeing trip that time. This time I'm going to my college's sister school and I have to attend some lectures and things. I'm determined to look like a million bucks the whole time because last time I was there, well... You know! All the women look so put together and polished! I felt frumpy the whole time I was there!
I really love For Audrey. It's pretty hard to find in stores, but 8ty8beauty.com would have it -- cheap too!
I love Pink Voltage and I'm currently wearing one that's sort of a shimmery purple-pink. Name escapes me right now, but I'll let you know when I get home!
As far as OPI -- I'm Not Really a Waitress is the SHIIIIIIT!!!
I've heard people recommend 8ty8beauty.com here before, I think. A few posts back someone asked for sites that had OPI or something like that, and got a lot of sites that had China Glaze. head2toebeauty.com was one of them, too.
I just ordered something with mauve in it from the opi brand which looks really pretty & 2 china glaze colors, although I'm not sure how they'll look in person they looked like great colors on my computer & they were cheap!
It's just so hard to pick from looking at them online. There are SO MANY nice pale pink colors, and without seeing them in person I just don't know which to choose. Same with the dark reds. But I don't know of anywhere around here that sells OPI or China Glaze, only Orly.
You may want to look on MakeupAlley to read the reviews for each color. I do this a lot since I love reds, but don't want all my colors to look the same. Plus it might look red in the bottle and fuchsia on the nails, so I need to know first.
People usually give a good color description. Plus, some give their skin tones as well and you can compare.

Plus now it's been years since I was in a Japanese class so I won't know how to talk to anyone!
