HI I read in a health magazine that women from India often rub their skin with olive oil and leave on overnight or bathe in hot water to help sooth their dry skin ( Read more... )

I tried and well, it was intereseting. Im guessing it takes a few days to help....im going to try it over a period of time to see what i get!

PS I wasnt greasy nor did I smell like olives LOL

I've used it in my hair, and it really is amazing! I've also used Jojoba Oil for my stretched ears, and I've heard of people using Vitamin E oil for skin as well.

There's really no harm in just putting it on before you go to sleep! The longer you leave it, the better your skin will feel.

only a tiny little bit. like a drop or two. i have pretty short hair, though so you may need to use more or less depending on how much hair you have. just make sure you add little by little so it doesn't look greasy!

I wouldnt bath in hot water, the hot water actually dries your skin out

this is actually really common. it works especially well on areas that are particularly dry (knees, elbows, etc).

i wouldn't use it on your face if you have oily or acne-prone skin.
