Does anybody know of a good (but relatively reasonably priced) costume store in NYC? I definately know that there are some, I just have no idea where. Around midtown would be preferable.

Or does anybody know where I can get a female santa/Mrs. Claus costume like

The ones there, and on most halloween sites are waaaay too short. I intend on wearing it to my school, which is K-12

Make it yourself. Just get a red skirt, a red tank, and some marabou. The gloves might be an issue, but if you get a stretchy red long-sleeve shirt, you could just cut the sleeves off and use that.

I like what overthestarrs said OR you could just wear that long-sleeved shirt and not cut it but still put white trim on the cuffs and maybe around the neckline if you really wanted to.
