Hey beautiful people, I'd love your thoughts on what to do with my thinning hair. I've lost at least two-thirds of it over the last four years, and the deficit shows quite badly at the crown and back of my head. Currently, the hair I have left has reached shoulder-length.

Do you think I should...

A friend of mine with very fine, thin hair got a chin length bob, and it looks great on her. When it's longer you can definitely see through to her scalp in places, but the shorter length gives it a little more volume and coverage. It's still long enough she can pin it back and somewhat style it, but it's been less work for her. I think your prince william picture is dead on for what she'd likely have if she went too short.

I have very thin, fine hair as well and a pixie cut really made it look thicker and healthier.

I would never try the 'no poo' deal with my long hair now, but it works quite well with very short hair. So you'll love the convenience of it.

In terms of looks, just be confident. I really hate when women feel their beauty depends on their haircut - it doesn't!

Go short for sure. I have fine, thin hair and I'll never grow it out long again.

I have a pixie cut so I can't help but lean towards B!
If you're worried about short hair looking thin, I'd advise keeping bangs a bit longer (mine somewhat look like the girl on my userpic's) and asking for short layers at the top. It definitely gives the illusion of volume. And if you're willing to spend a bit of time on your hair or use products, it's very easy to style short hair to have it in the exact direction you want (for example to hide your thinning spots).
Good luck and tell us what you end up choosing!
