Foundation/Moisturizer Advice

Has anyone tried Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion or Givenchy Photo'Perfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20 PA+++? I've been using the Clinique BB cream for awhile but it doesn't give me quite enough coverage as I like. I have combo skin that can get fairly flaky and dry around my mouth, and I used retinoids usually twice a week. Thanks!~

You might want to look into an Asian BB cream. I've not been impressed with a single American one that I've tried - most are closer to a tinted moisturizer than a BB cream. Missha has some good ones (and if you sign up for their email list, they have coupons) as does Skin79. I haven't tried either of the ones that you listed. In the past, I have not been impressed with Givenchy's foundation shades (not a wide range, lean more yellow toned), however that may have changed. I do like Dior Nude foundation - it should have more coverage and works well in winter for me. however, if you are really flaky, maybe a thicker moisturizer, or even just thicker where you are drier?

Unfortunately heavier moisturizers make me break out horribly, both OTC and prescribed ones :/ I tried a Missha one but that made me break out, although it could possibly because it wasn't fragrance free. Have you tried Make Up Forever's HD foundation? I'm also looking at that one.

i've tried the hd foundation and HATED it - i have combo skin and it just accentuated all of my dry patches x 1000000 and looked absolutely terrible. i've been using chanel vitalumiere aqua and really like it; it has a little more coverage than a tinted moisturizer so it's not thick/heavy at all
