Hi everyone!
I checked through the tags and archives and couldn't really find anything recent that pertains to my questions.

Has anyone used Conair's CHV14JXR Extreme Heat Jumbo and Super Jumbo Rollers? here's a pic to clear up any confusion about what I'm referencing:

I tried it for a couple weeks but ended up returning it. I dont think it stays hot long enough to curl the hair and when its at its hottest, I find it difficult to roll. They come with these weird metal clips too. I prefer the claw ones. Overall the effect was just ok. The curls didnt stay too long either. And honestly, for me this took longer than a curling iron.

I've been using Conair hot rollers for years on my thick, extremely curly hair. Now I will say that I blow it dry straight first. (Well as straight as I can get it with a blowdryer and a vent brush, which is to say, not very.) *Then* I roll it with the hot rollers. You have to be quick rolling each strand because those curlers will burn your fingers if you hold them too long. Separate out the strand, comb/brush it, then grab the roller and quickly roll it up. It looks great when it's finished. My husband calls it my "movie star hair" haha!

Oh, on edit, yeah, I like them a lot.

Second edit: I can't do this in the summer when it's humid out because it'll frizz within the hour in humid weather.

Third edit: I keep thinking of things to add. I have to use 2 sets of these because my hair is really thick and I need more rollers than come in one set.
