Smudgey Eye Make-up

I always have this problem with smudging eye make-up and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if I just have extra fatty Asian eyelids that like to eat up all my makeup. I don't know how long make up is supposed to stay put on your face for, but I can't even make it to lunch time during a work day before it all starts going south

Do you mean your under-eye liner or all of your eye makeup is getting under your eyes?
Are you using your eye primer under your eyes as well? I've found that to help my eyeliner stay put better under my eyes.

I meant all my eye make up. I don't even bother with under eye make up unless it's brown or white.
I haven't put primer under my eye! -_-
I usually just rub on extra foundation.

When I close my eyes for too long as well..it just goes nuts.

I actually have the same problem as you. I do seem to have less of a problem when I wear eyeliner on my lower lashes but this just might be because it just hides the fallout from the upper eyelid. The only mascara I have found that actually stays put on my eyelids and doesn't drift under my eyes is this one by L'Oreal. I never wear it on my lower eyelashes though. I haven't found one that doesn't leave smears under my eyes if I wear it on my lower lashes no matter how much I spend.

I will probably youtube how to liquid liner my lower lashes..because the pencil ones smudge quickly.

I meant fatty as in..fat, pudgy eyelids.

I've only tried the Revlon primer. I never know if using a normal primer works, or if it has to be specifically eye primer.

Will definitely try setting liners with shadow and Asian branded things.

Most mascaras will drift under the eyes unfortunately. I work out with my mascara on and I don't find it to be a problem, i just use a cotton swab after application and then it dries very stiff and can't melt lol. I use the cover girl lash blast mascara. I find that the ones that arent very watery in application usually stay on longest.

As for eyeliner, I would suggest maybe using a black eye shadow to go over it.

Honestly the pencils always seem to smudge up no matter what - on me at least

Do you use an eye/face primer? Makeup doesnt really last long w/o a primer underneath.

When you prime your eyes (w/something like Urban Decay Primer Potion or NYX HD Eyeshadow base) - apply a thin layer and prime your eyebrows and under eye area as well.

The best liquid liner ive used (and I have watery eyes) is Revlon Colorstay. That thing doesnt budge. Mascara wise - I also stick w/ Revlon - Grow Luscious.

I love this stuff - especially the new squeeze bottle sans applicator. You can even use it as a base for concealer on a blemish - lasts a long time!
