Title: Choices Made
Characters: The Doctor and Donna
Summary: Until now he’s managed to convince himself that it won’t happen to her, that she’ll live for years and they’ll have marvelous adventures until she’s old and gray and so cantankerous that he finally might get tired of her company. He can’t fool himself any longer.

A horrible awful bad situation, but it was so well written. You wring every sad feeling out of me as I read this. I just feel so sorry for Ten. Like he needs more angst in his life. But I love the way that he's willing to do what she wants. It is such a great sacrifice and something only a best mate would do.

Re the whited-out words in your header: white words are visible for those who don't use white backgrounds in their journals. I have a light beige journal background so I could see the whited-out words. You need to white out the background too. This code will work (be sure to replace the [ ] with < >):

I was crying from the beginning to the end, this was just so heartbreaking and beautifully done. The sad irony of it all; the one time they take a trip that doesn't require a whole lot of running, this happens.
