oh my god emma, these pictures made my heart skip a beat.. its so so beautiful.. you are so lucky.. what a beautiful beautiful country.. i am now determind to one day walk the same ground.. plus, your photos are wonderful! i love that one, i think of your sister, through the two rock walls.. it looks like you had about the best spring break someone could have.. man, machu pichu, breath-taking.. and you in that hat, so damn cute! and the llamas!! ah, i love it all!

i know, i was totally taken aback by how beautiful it was - photographs don't even really do the mountains justice. i wish we had mountains like that here! i definetly decided that won't be my last visit to south america. the guide we went with on the trail had spent a couple years doing tours through the jungle (which is basically on the other side of the mountains), so next time i'll bring back pictures of the rainforest! haha
and thank you! two months seems so long when i think about this summer, graduating, moving out... i'm so excited! i've already started planning how i'm going to decorate my dorm, hahahha i'm such a dork.

i asked an old indian woman how much she wanted for her baby llama and she said 200 soles - which is like 60 bucks! needless to say, i seriously considered it hahaha
