Hey, everybody!

There's not going to be a war, okay? There're probably tons more people who don't want one than there are people who do, so you're, like, outnumbered. And if you try to start one, the rest of us can totally make you stop!

A war?

Where has that idea come from?

Some people are talking about it.

We must hope that talk is as far as it leads. To begin a war here... would serve no purpose.

Yeah, exactly. Most of us aren't even from here.

Exactly! War is bad and people could get huuuurt!

Reply

beatsupboys March 26 2009, 18:47:47 UTC
Yeah! People get hurt enough here anyway.

That's why we shouldn't fight each other! I'll be awful! People will just get upset!

[
Yet more facepalming on her end]

England, as I understand it, would prefer for those two to be off doing something
useful, but is concerned based on past experience. I cannot fault him for that; in my time, I had to fend off invasions from the Saxons, whom I believe were from what is part of Germany from his time.

But I do think that they will soon discover that raising an army in a place such as this is quite impossible. A small force, perhaps; a mob, certainly. But an army of well-trained, professional soldiers is out of the question.

Well, Shinji says the mobs are dangerous, too.

Why are all these guys named after countries, anyway?

They are, but an organised army is somewhat more dangerous. Mobs can be easily swayed and thus can be defused quickly under certain circumstances. I wish to avoid one, but dealing with a mob is the more preferable of the two.

I think they may be the spirits of their given countries. I myself am something of the same, so I understand to some extent.

I think we should find a way to keep both from happening.

... Wow, really?

Go on, tell your friends that there won't be a war. But just wait. Just wait.

If only two people in the whoooole city want a war, there's no way there's going to be one.

Reply

lovesauerkraut March 26 2009, 19:29:20 UTC
It's more than two.

beatsupboys March 26 2009, 19:33:39 UTC

It's like people can't help themselves.

beatsupboys March 26 2009, 19:34:26 UTC
I don't know why they would want one here, anyway.

Reply

noahofdreams March 26 2009, 19:36:06 UTC
Because they're idiots.

beatsupboys March 26 2009, 19:37:01 UTC
Kinda acting that way, yeah.
