Ok, Paul McCartney wrote a song for Mary Hopkin called "goodbye"

I think it's always interesting when a male singer sings a song from a female POV. Bob Dylan does a wonderful rendition of "House of the Rising Sun" from a female POV that includes lines like, "my sweethearts is a gambling man" ahhahaha. I wish more artists did it. George Harrison, post-Beatles, got really into God, and has several songs about God where you can interpret the "he" in them sort of ambiguiously too.

It doesn't matter if they're not really slashy or whatever. It's still nice to listen to men singing about other men.

It's a really beautiful song and the "And calls me to his side" part made me smile :D

Cuuute. I haven't heard that before.

A few things in this comm have led me to believe that maybe I should finish the Paul♥John essay I've been working on for a month or so.
