HOLY. SHIT. This is really made only more profound with the thought of all the fame and fortune they had in front of them, with Paul as the bassist. I find myself speechless at really amazing, well-written stories, and I am just totally speechless right now. Okay, let me organize my thoughts now. :O :O :O :O There's just something so beautiful in the subtlety of this story. There's the stuff on top, of course; the raw emotions and anger between Stu and Paul, and then the frustration and defiance between John and Paul (both of which are treated with realism in a great way). But then that undertone of, like I said, hope and an amazing future and that feeling that Paul has at the end there... I don't know if it was intentional or not, but, nonetheless, was fantastic. Really amazing job. I am totally looking forward to more by you.
HOLY. SHIT. Probably the best first comment I could have expected. THANK YOU.
I think that a lot of things Paul did was all for the sake of the band, especially later on....but because he is who he is, his way of doing it was also being a douchebag. He has the misfortune of being the guy who's entitled to an "I told you so" in a lot of matters.
I don't think my words will get across how good I think this was, but I really, really want to see more from you. So well written. Are you thinking of continuing this piece?
Thank you so much! I don't really plan on tacking any more onto this particular story, but I might end up writing more in this time period, anyway. I'll have to wait until inspiration hits again. I was really just drawn to the inherent drama of this exchange.
Oh wow, very well done<33 The you didn't say too much, but you didn't leave us confused either, and that's one skill I admire in other writers. I loved this story, I adore this pairing, and it's overall just amazing.
That was very nice. I liked the way you pictured the tension between them, the fight for domination and John's power over the others. Do go on with your writing, it's a great de-lurk fic if I ever saw one ^^

John/Stu is great because it has just as much evidence in its favor as John/Paul does. And maybe an equally depressing ending. :<
Thanks!
