Application: THEME: Late Beatles Songs

A NOTE TO VOTERS: This is a beatle_stamp themed application! Please stamp as any song by the The Beatles from 1966-1970. This includes all the songs from Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and Let It Be, as well as any of their singles from this time period.

01. Name: Laura Katariina
02. Age: 18
03. Which Beatle are you stamped as? John ♥

04. What is your favorite album of this period (Revolver through Let It Be) and why? I don't really think I have a favorite to be honest.
05. Do you prefer more John, Paul, George, or Ringo songs? I prefer John & Paul songs a bit more I think.
06. What do you think of the Beatles’ solo careers? I don't really know about their solo careers, other than John's that is.

07. Do you prefer faster or slower songs? That depends entirely on the situation. Sometimes faster songs are better for that particular moment, sometimes slow songs are.
08. Do you like more experimental songs or tradition rock songs? Experimental!
09. Do you like songs about personal love and loss, or songs with broader themes? Personal loss is a bit too sad for my tastes, but songs about love and/or broader themes are nice.
10. Do you prefer songs with an uplifting message or sadder songs? Uplifting message, absolutely! I'm not saying sad songs aren't as good or as beautiful, I just happen to like more happier songs ♥
11. Do you like songs the tell more of a third person story or a more personal first person song? Ooh, I don't mind either. Although more of a third person story is more interesting I suppose.
12. Name some characteristics of your favorite songs (i.e. sad, dancy, ballad, simple, experimental etc.): My favorite songs are usually unusual in some way, they are not too sad, they're interesting, have nice lyrics or are just instrumental, and have a little bit of... wonder in them.

13. Pick any quote or lyric (of any song, not just Beatles) that really defines you:

"Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." - James Dean

+

"I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are;
because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star.
I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far;
for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are."
- Milton Berle

14. What kind of messages are important to you? Everyday life, oddness, love
15. What five things in life could you not live without? (not literally!) Oooh, hmm. Probably: my imagination, my camera, pen & paper, hope and the sky/stars above me.
16. Are you a romantic or cynic? Cynic on the outside, romantic on the inside.
17. If you could write a song that the whole world would listen to, what would it sound like and what would it say? Oh dear. I'd want to write something about everyday life that very few people notice, about something innocent and dreamy and just about the world around me and how I see it, really.

18. Please link to three recent applications you have voted on: I think there's only one unstamped app at the moment!

late song: across the universe, stamped
