A long, crowded flight brought me to Atlanta, where my mom and Curtis picked me up. Mom was thrilled to have me back, and spent a lot of time reminescing as is her habit

is there a big sign that says "Gay Fair" that you can take a picture in front of?

There's a stone monument that commemorates the donation of the Gay family farm to the town. I neglected to get a picture, though.
The official name for the fair is the Cotton-Pickin' Fair at Gay, Georgia
I have a feeling that was a recent change ;)
