Chapter 1 Chapter 2: Don’t Trust Strangers
“Hey” Doojoon tried to get the bartender’s attention, but it seemed like it didn’t work. “Hey! Bartender!” He tried again.
The bartender glanced at Doojoon and came over. “Yes?” She asked him politely, although she didn’t really need to ask. She had an idea what he wanted.
“Give me another shot.” He grinned as he held out the tiny glass shot cup and waved it around. He was still sober, but he was clearly on the verge of being drunk very soon. His cheeks were beginning to flush and he was behaving a bit out of the ordinary. He arrived at the bar a few hours ago and all he’s been doing is asking for shots and wallowing in guilt and self-pity.
The bartender sighed. “I think you’ve had enough. Why don’t you go home while you’re still sober?” She asked as she took the cup out of his hands.
Doojoon scoffed. “Home? There’s nothing at home for me but pain and misery.” He answered. “Everyone probably fucking hates me now.” He assumed that everyone was back at the dorm already and fuming at what Doojoon did to Yoseob, but it wasn’t that late at night and the other members were probably still out.
The bartender felt sorry for Doojoon. She gets a lot of these kinds of customers; after all, it is a bar. It’s where people go to drown all their misery away with alcohol. She, herself don’t understand why people think alcohol is a solution, but whatever. As long as she gets paid, she could care less. “Don’t worry sweetie. I’m sure there’s someone that still cares for you.” She said as she patted his hand and walked away.
“Hey, aren’t you going to-“ He was about to ask for another shot, but his cell phone started ringing. He reached into his pocket and looked at the caller ID. It was Dongwoon. He must have been the first person home.
“Hey, Dongwoon.” Doojoon answered as he stared at the counter in front of him and started tracing invisible circles into the stained wood with his free hand.
“Hyung! Are you okay? Where are you?” Dongwoon asked with a hint of panic and worry laced somewhere in between the words.
“I’m fine. I’m just out. Why? Did you just come home?” He really didn’t need to ask. From the sound of it, it seems like Dongwoon discovered the chaos that he made.
“Oh, what a relief. I thought something might have happened to you and Yoseob. The dorm is a mess, it looked like someone broke in and tried to rob us or maybe it was some extreme anti-fan...” Dongwoon explained.
Doojoon didn’t even want to answer. Should he tell him what happened? It would probably be for the best. He can’t lie to his members. What would be the point of hiding it anyways? They’re bound to find out the truth sooner or later because they’re sneaky like that. “Actually, I was the one who did all that…” He confessed.
“What?! What happened?” Dongwoon asked in a surprised tone. He was kind of shocked that someone like Doojoon could do something like this. It wasn’t like he hasn’t seen Doojoon mad before, but he figured that something really, really awful must have happened to piss Doojoon off this much. He was kind of glad that he was out with Mir when all of this happened… But then again, he couldn’t help but worry for Yoseob. He was home with Doojoon too, right?
“Nothing… I’ll explain later.” He didn’t want to talk about it on the phone; it was probably better if he explained in person. “I’ll be back soon, I’ll tell you then. Okay?”
“Okay… I guess I’ll start cleaning up. See you later, hyung.” Dongwoon replied and ended the call.
Honestly, Doojoon didn’t want Dongwoon to clean up the mess he made. In fact, he didn’t even want to go back yet, but he doesn’t have a choice. There’s nowhere else to go, except maybe his parents house. He doesn’t want his parents to know that he did something bad though, and if he went back now they would probably be suspicious and be all nosy and pester him about it. He didn’t need that right now.

“Shit. Where the fuck am I?” It was dark and cold and Yoseob had no idea where he was.
He observed his surroundings and it looked liked he stumbled into some neighborhood, but it didn’t look very welcoming. There was litter all over the place; food wrappers were buried into the corners of nearby buildings and homes as random trash rolled through the empty streets. The walls were covered with cryptic graffiti messages in all kinds of colors and different handwritings. The neighborhood almost gave off an eerie feeling of caution and danger; the dimly lit streets weren’t helping any either.
It seemed like Yoseob was the only person there at the moment and it creeped him out. ’Shit. Okay. Just walk back the way you came and you’ll be out of here in no time… He tried to calm himself down as he quickly turned around and tried to remember how he even got there in the first place. He walked on for a few minutes and then he saw a figure in the distance. From the silhouette, Yoseob could tell that it was a man and a very gangly looking one at that. He couldn’t make out any specific details, but as he got closer, he could tell that the other was staring him down.
He slowed down his walking, trying to avoid eye contact with the mysterious man up ahead. He definitely did not want to run into any trouble, especially in this kind of neighborhood. He could feel the stranger’s eyes just burning holes into his skull as he continued on his path. Ah, what should he do? The stranger is standing right in front of where he needed to pass in order for him to escape this creepy place. Maybe there was another way out. There probably was, but he didn’t want to take his chances of getting lost.
He was getting closer and closer to the stranger and he was trying very hard to not look up. He was just staring down at the sidewalk and walking on the very side. However, just when he was about to cross paths with the guy, he looked up. God forbid, he looked up. He didn’t know why he did it; it was just an impulse reaction. He regretted the moment he did and quickly looked away again as soon as they made eye contact. He noticed that the guy looked even creepier up close. His clothing was disheveled and his face looked like a mess. The worst thing about it was the guy’s eyes were this weird bloodshot red color and he was menacingly staring at Yoseob.
Okay. Walk faster and just ignore the guy. Walk faster. Walk faster!! You’re almost there, Yoseob! He thought to himself. Just when he thought he was going to escape this nightmare of a place, he felt cold fingers grip hard onto his shoulder and turn him around so he would face the man. Oh Shit.
