We spent Saturday up at Donner Lake near Tahoe breaking in our new snowshoes. Super fun.

Ha! That's funny. I actually wasn't even thinking about the whole Donner party thing when I said that. But we had been joking about it on the way up, so I s'pose it was in the back of my mind.
