It was announced today that Starbucks chairman Howard Shultz will be returning as CEO of Starbucks for the long term. This is actually good news. Shultz helped to get Starbucks started back in 1982. He wrote a wonderful biography a few years back that I keep reading over and over. Starbucks needed this happen now;especially after McDonald's ( Read more... )

Like I'm EVER going to go to a store with a clown on it for good coffee. I prefer getting my coffee from a mermaid with stars in her hair. Duh!

I just got a travel mug from the company I work for... and I can't wait to use it tomorrow at Starbucks! It's like my two favorite things merging into one! If I could use the mug to read LJ somehow it would be the best morning ever!

Oh, and I guess I haven't gone there enough to know.....what is the "Starbucks experience"? I've been there a few times, everyone was nice and all, I got a cup of joe, sat down and drank it....nice furniture and music. That was **it** (?)

Brian and I awhile ago tried their iced coffee. VERY bad! Plus they put sugar in it without asking first!

Yeah, and what's with this "Sweet Tea" stuff? I mean, I can add sugar to my own Iced Tea if I want to, thank you very much.
