Nice pictures, Tim. Yup, I have that urge to plant around this time of the year, but I usually proscrastinate until April/May. Congrats on the new camera.

Up here nothing could realistically be planted until mid-April anyways, and then only if it is frost hardy. The gardening season here doesn't kick off until May 24th for most things.

Ah, all's not so lost for me then. I've wanted to plant some herbs and maybe grape tomatoes. The good weather will be upon us here soon.

Funny you should mention this because just yesterday I was looking into the back yard and seeing some ground for the first time since November. I immediately though, gawd it needs some attention the ice and snow have a done a number on it. Then my second thought was, oh and let's go buy some plants.

I can't have houseplants. I kill them.

Try something easy like an Aglonema or a Cast Iron Plant. They are hard to kill unless left without water for long periods.
