Just recently the building I work in was connected to a new building next to it, and the connection seems to be causing some odd air flow problems. That's freaky. The high-rise next to our offices causes gale force winds. People will sometimes have to create a human chain to keep from being blown away. But inside the building? That would weird me right out.

Well they figured it is connected to a pressure dis-balance between the connected buildings coupled with an envelope of negative pressure created abound one building when the wind blow the right direction. The current work-around is to prop the doors between each open, which seems to equalize the indoor pressure.
