christmas spirit

I realized that I'm finally into the holiday spirit this morning when I spontaneously started singing "Silver Bells" while getting ready for work. So I'll probably have enough spirit to get all my gifts wrapped, and maybe go out and pick up some gift cards and a few odds and ends, unless the snow is bad tonight ( Read more... )

That's certainly true. Although given that we had several hamsters, birds and an aquarium in the house and she never bothered them, she was actually a well behaved cat.

The cat really did knock the tree over, but aliens set it back up before anyone got out there, in repayment for decades of anal probing without diners.

Or perhaps the cat did knock it over, but some kind of quantum incursion occurred and set us back to a few seconds before it happened.

I'd say it was the cat, outside knocking over a garbage can. It wil keep doing this until you're lulled into that "Cry Wolf" situation. Then the tree is the cat's fair game.

Not likely. The fairies in Canada were all killed by the Walruses that live on the ice floes in Toronto harbour.
