* I think this is the first time we've taken a major trip and actually met up with everyone who said they wanted to meet us, and had a good time to boot. It was pleasantly surprising, given some of the flakiness or drama we've experienced in past trips ( Read more... )

* Hell is other tourists.

Remember, to all those tourists, you're the "other tourist" too. ;) I bet the dry hair would be nice for clearing out the sinuses and lungs. Could use that myself. Glad you had a good time.

I wonder sometimes if I appear as oblivious or pushy or obnoxious to other tourists as they appear to me. I hope not.

I've been finding that Mucinex (Guanifenesin generically) is good for the sinus problems. I usually pick some up at Eckert or Target when i'm in Buffalo.

They don't carry that up there, eh? Interesting.

Currently, guanfensin has to be cut with a cough supressant or a decongestant to be sold over the counter in Canada. I'm sure they'll change that rule eventually. I've found the plain Mucinex much better than the mixed cold meds.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip here. The west coast of the US definitely has a laid-back kind of slow going way to it. I've noticed the further west you go, the more so it seems. It was great to get to meet you guys. Arizona, I think, is one of the most beautiful states. I love the weather and the different landscapes and stuff. I love how in two hours, I can be in the mountains and snow or be at a lake and the be back in my bed that night. It's a state that I'm very proud to call home.

About the air, I agree completely. I hate humidity. I actually found it hard to breathe when I visited Toronto because the air seemed "thick" to me compared to down here.
