Oh bestill my Trekkie heart

William Shatner is recording a heavy metal album. A heavy metal album.

Oh God. Look, I know that this should be massively embarrassing, but seriously, this man can do no fucking wrong as far as I'm concerned.

I don't care how old he or I get, I will never fail to go into ecstacies of fannish glee over Shatner.

squee, star trek, need this in my life, drive by post, music

lol, for some reason, this post made me giggle. I think it's awesome that there's always that failsafe fannish glee mechanism. :)

Also, Shatner is hilarious and Trek is awesome. :D

I want to be Captain Kirk, but I've been told I'm Chekov. Which is... actually quite acurate. XD

lol, I've always loved Chekov, for some reason. Probably my fave character from TOS, though Dr. McCoy is right up there, too. :D Oh, and Scotty was always fun. Gah, so many great characters. I may have to bust out Wrath of Khan to watch...again. :D

Khaaaaaaaan!

/ham

I'm very possibly going to watch Search for Spock later on. And maybe try and learn how to make fanvids, because I've realised how imperitive it is that someone make a Sherlock vid for common people. Preferably with lots of skinny jeans wearing!drugged up!pilot!Sherlock

Have you seen "Free Enterprise"? I love his concept of a spoken word and rap version of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, starring himself. "Honorable men...honorable men...honorable men..."

Teh Shatner's cover of Common People is genius. I wonder who he'll cover on this.

And how he'll sound. Doesn't he do mostly speaking rather than singing? How is that going to work on heavy metal? Oh, now you've got me all curious.

I don't know, but he's got a lot of people collaborating with him. Brian May is all I can remember offhand.
