(Think you're so right about Dan thinking up abstruse reasons so he doesn't have to acknowledge in public his relationship with Jones, intellectualising it so he can hide from the reality. Poor Jones, and poor messed-up Dan! )

I really like this little series you're putting together, it's all very IC - plus it makes me fall in love with Jones a little bit more, which I didn't think was possible! Really hope you'll continue with this.
