Completely agree with you! I've also always thought that Star Trek casts a rather hopeful view of humanity in the future. It would be wonderful to live in a world of cooperation and peace-- and be free of the monetary system! To be able to be completely devoted to the pure exploration of the unkown...

Yeah, I couldn't live in a world without Star Trek, either.
