That's a lot of gigs for just over two months!

If I go to no other gigs this month it still works out as 6 gigs a month, which is nuts. I'm all gigged out, so i'm giving it a rest for a while. There's only a handful of ones I want to see in the next 3 months, so I'll actually get a rest!

I shall indeed...I don't use myspace a lot, but I should probably go on and check its not died. And add you!

Anti-Flag was good, I really liked one of the support bands the King Blues. I always feel uncomfortable being preached at shows about politics though, so I was a little cynical about the bits in between songs. No idea why, I'll happly talk about politics and I like socio-political punk, but it felt a little weird. Not really a big fan of Academy 2 when sold out either...too cramped.

I'm not a big fan of sold out shows in general. You're right about the not being able to see, which is a shame. I almost wish the academy were on a slope so you could see regardless - like the Manchester Apollo. Or make all the tall people move to the back!

i've never been to Rock City. A friend lives nearer Nottingham and I keep meaning to go see something there, or at least actually visit it. Ditto the rescue rooms. But for some reason transport back to B'ham is impossible.
