Mom's Birthday Shaw

So Mom bothered me forever to make her a gray shaw like the one I made.

For reference, the one I made was CrochetMe's design in Red Heart Symphony, minus the blo stitch. I just did mine straight hardcore crochet.

A little more than two skiens of charcoal Homespun later, I was able to give mom this for her birthday:

Homespun is wonderfully soft, but I don't have the patience to work with it. Although, for a pattern with a larger hook or some openwork like a shawl it would probably be manageable. Very nice, and I love the color you chose :)

Mom picked the color. If I make one for me, I'm thinking I'll get something a little more varigated.
